A post from Zach

Yeah call me a whimp, or spoiled, or something derogatory, but how long have you gone without power AND water? Well that's how we woke up this morning (the guys, at least...). Our entertainment for last night = standing around watching a spicket squirt out water for our showers this morning. It was so cool! (no pun intended, even though it's been very chilly at night) And Pastor Ben gave us a heater coil to warm up the water, but we didn't have power to do that. In the words of Steve Pigget, "Oh well!" Cold showers are very refreshing! So today we went down the hill to the church here in Bambili, and we practiced our opening assembly, skits, and then the games for the teen rally. We lured five Cameroonian children into playing some of the games with us. We didn't play for very long, which dissapointed them, but we told them to come back to the HBS (Holiday Bible School) next week. This afternoon we started on a trek up to Camp Joy to see some waterfalls and go swimming, but the bus broke down halfway up the mountain. Most of the kids went with Bro. Steve the rest of the way to the camp. (They can tell you their stories later.) I stayed behind with a group, and we were able to hike to some really cool rock formations. (Pictures coming later.) The views over the towns of Bambili and Bamenda are absolutely spectacular. It's cliche, but the pictures won't do justice. Ok I've taken too much time typing. Please continue to pray as we travel around these crazy roads, and meet people to witness to. Serving in Cameroon, Zach
