Yesterday was a great day! It was the first day we had both the HBS and the Teen Rally. The HBS was very crazy but we got through it fine. We had a total of 178 kids registered, but i assure you that there were much more!
The Teen Rally was great! It didn't rain Thank God! At the end of the service 2 youths came to the back to trust Christ as Savior! When the meeting was over I saw two kids probably around the age of 12 sitting out on the brick wall, so i went over to ask them a few questions about the Bible. I asked them what they thought it meant to be a Christian. One of them quickly replied, "you have to be good and obey the commandments". I then showed them Ephesians 2:8-9. I made them read out loud, "not of works". You could see in there eyes that they knew they were wrong about what they believed. At that point three more kids came up also and I was able to share the same thing with them as well. Praise the Lord all five kids came to know Christ as there Savior last night and that they can never lose their salvation. Pray that today will be just as fruitful as yesterday!
Wow! So wonderful to read these stories of faithful witnessing! May we always be ready and grab every opportunity! We are so blessed to have such a clear understanding of how to give the gospel.
